C.S.E.M.P. - Environment : Principles. -





	Plastic packaging, with its very design and intrinsic qualities, helps respect the environment. Upstream, plastics are light and therefore consume less energy for transport; they are also economic in the use of primary products needed.

	Downstream, they can help reduce the waste because of qualities meaning reduction at source.



		Plastic packaging manufacturers respect the environment in their means of production.

		They use clean technology so as to minimise the impact of their industrial activity on the environment : low consumption of non-polluting power (electricity), recovery of heat generated and the use of closed refrigerated water circuits.

		The manufacture of plastic packaging produces virtually no solid or gaseous waste.
